Rob joined Mountgrange in September 2007 and has 20 years experience in real estate, including the leasing, investment and asset management of approximately £1.5 billion of UK properties.

Prior to joining Mountgrange, Rob worked at Hawthorne West which he founded in April 2006 to provide investment and asset management advice to real estate owners. In May 2006, Rob was appointed asset manager to UK Capital Partners, a £100 million real estate private equity fund sponsored by Mountgrange, reporting directly to Martin Myers.

Prior to forming Hawthorne West, Rob became a founding partner of the investment broking arm of Smiths Gore in 2000, to form Smiths Gore Commercial Property LLP. His clients included Mountgrange, Legal and General Group plc, Threadneedle Investments and UBS Securities.

From 1996 to 2000, Rob was a director at Nelson Bakewell Ltd, where he ran the National Business Space Investment Broking Team. Rob started his career at Daniel Watney, a London office letting agency in 1990, qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor in 1994. He holds a post graduate diploma in Property Valuation and Law from City University and a BA (Hons) in Anthropology from Durham University.
