Martin Myers is Senior Partner of Mountgrange. With a career extending over 44 years, he has extensive experience of real estate investment and development, and is a leading figure in the UK real estate investment market.
Martin has been involved in all stages of the real estate investment process, including equity capital raising, debt financing, capital and fund structuring, acquisition, development, asset management and sales. Prior to Mountgrange, Martin was Executive Deputy Chairman of Trillium, which he co-founded with Manish Chande and Goldman Sachs’ Whitehall Street Real Estate Limited Partnerships (“Whitehall Street Funds”) in 1997. Following the sale of Trillium to Land Securities plc in 2000, he became a Special Advisor to the Board of Land Securities plc.
Before establishing Trillium, Martin was CEO of Imry Merchant Developers plc, a company he formed in 1983. This vehicle was used to trade properties and it acquired numerous high profile sites for redevelopment. Imry was sold to a private consortium in 1989.
Martin began his real estate career at Jones Lang Wootton in 1964 and has a degree in Estate Management from London University. From 2003 to 2009 Martin was a Governor of the Southbank Centre where he was Chairman of the Project Committee which oversaw the Royal Festival Hall’s successful refurbishment.
