News: Consortium Develops Buckingham Gate Resi Scheme

A consortium comprising Mountgrange Investment Management, Brockton Capital and Lord Rothschild?s interests are currently more than four months into the construction of a private residential scheme located at 6-9 Buckingham Gate, SW1. The scheme, which consists of a number of lateral apartments and a large single family townhouse totalling around 40,000 square feet of saleable area, entails a full-scale redevelopment of four Grade II Listed townhouse buildings. The redevelopment incorporates the retention of the stucco facades, principal rooms and staircases of the original buildings constructed in the 1850?s, as well as incorporating modern features such as private lifts, private underground car parking, south-facing roof terraces, large lateral living space and concierge facilities. The scheme is projected to be completed in the spring of 2013. The construction of the scheme is being overseen by Grantham Associates.
