Background

Mountgrange is a young fund management business led by a senior management team with combined real estate experience totalling 190 years. The team is headed by two long-standing industry professionals, Martin Myers and Manish Chande. Known for their entrepreneurial flair, they have worked as partners for 24 years creating several prominent corporate vehicles during this time including IMRY and Trillium. The senior professional team has a collective transactional experience of over £20bn in the UK incorporating the acquisition of commercial property, real estate development, and asset management.

Mountgrange closed its first fund in April 2009 with a total of £300 million of committed equity received from over thirty investors from around the world. Mountgrange Real Estate Opportunity Fund (“MoREOF”) has an acquisition capacity of circa £850 milllion, and is targeting a mix of traditional and opportunistic investments.

The Mountgrange team has an excellent reputation as operational partners following multiple successful joint ventures and co-invesments with AEW, Goldman Sachs’ Whitehall Fund, Soros/Grove, Cinven and Barclays Bank PLC amongst others.

With a base in the heart of London’s West End, the Mountgrange team are specialists in real estate investment throughout the UK. The approach relies on the team’s profound market knowledge and their established network of industry relationships. Investor Relations

Mountgrange places special emphasis on managing its investor relationships to the highest standards, aspiring to be ‘best in class’. The senior team has extensive experience of operating successful JV’s and third party investment vehicles. As a consequence, investors in Mountgrange funds can be confident of the management team’s highly professional service and expert property skills to deliver consistency and excellent results.

Current Activities

We are in the process of committing funds on behalf of MoREOF and actively managing the current assets: Warwick House and the Jeeves Portfolio, which were acquired by the fund in 2008.
